Greentech Media’s Grid Edge Innovation Summit 2019 kicked off Tuesday with a series of keynote panels and presentations debating the big challenges in data analytics and distributed energy. We would like to say a very BIG THANK YOU to our presenters, sponsors, delegates, and the SAP team for making the return the in-person such a special experience. Highlights included welcoming SAP’s new IBU lead Daniela Sellmann, interactive roundtable discussions, Peter Maier’s opening keynote presentation on ‘Enabling Digital Transformation in a Disruptive World’, the extensive range of customer stories and so much more!

With one of our most extensive case study-led agendas yet, attendees had the opportunity to learn, catch up on the latest and greatest from SAP and network face-to-face with the wider industry. The Summit will also provide networking and information sharing opportunities so that attendees can learn from each other.

With attendees traveling from far and wide, the full SAP Utilities ecosystem came together under one roof for the first time since 2019. The Summit will provide education on the tools, technologies and resources available to municipal utilities to establish and maintain a successful cybersecurity program, no matter what the size of your utility. Wow! What a return to our in-person International SAP Conference for Utilities. One of the premier events on the smart city conference calendar will return twice next year, as Smart Cities Connect descends on Denver in April and National Harbor, MD in October.
